There are 5 different Kailash mountains located in India and Tibet, which are jointly named as Panch are Kailash Kailash Manasarovar, Adi Kailash, Kinnaur Kailash, Shrikant Mahadev Kailash, and Manimahesh Kailash. Mount Kailash is situated in Tibet, it is the most elevated among all Mount Kailash with a level of 6638 meters. This spot is viewed as vital in Hinduism as well as in religions like Buddhism, Jainism, and so on. Adi Kailash, also known as Chotta Kailash, is a sacred mountain located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is revered as a significant pilgrimage site and is considered an alternate abode of Lord Shiva.

Kinnaur Kailash is a sacred mountain peak located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Kinnaur Kailash holds immense religious significance in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva, and the mountain is revered as one of the mythical abodes of the deity. The peak is also associated with various legends and mythological stories, making it a sacred pilgrimage site for devotees.


Shrikhand Kailash is situated in the Indian Himalayas, near the town of Rampur in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Shrikhand Kailash holds immense religious significance in Hinduism and is considered the abode of Lord Shiva. The mountain is revered as one of the mythical abodes of the deity, and it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva meditated and attained enlightenment.

Manimahesh Kailash is situated in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, near the town of Bharmour. The mountain is considered the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, and it is believed that he performed penance at this location. The annual Manimahesh Yatra is undertaken by pilgrims to pay homage to the deity and seek his blessings.
